2025 McKim, Mead & White Award

McBournie Richards' Astor Courts project has won a 2025 McKim, Mead & White Award for Interior Design – Houses. Many thanks to the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art for recognizing our work with this prestigious honor. We revitalized this early 20th-century Beaux-Arts landmark, making it at once a historic estate and a welcoming family home.

McBournie Richards is honored to be recognized with a 2026 Palladio Award, one of the nation's most prestigious honors for excellence in traditional architecture and design. Presented annually by Traditional Building magazine, the Palladio Awards celebrate outstanding achievement in classical and traditional architecture, craftsmanship, historic preservation, restoration, renovation, and new construction.

Selected by a distinguished panel of architects, preservationists, and design professionals, Palladio Award-winning projects represent the highest standards of craftsmanship, proportion, materiality, and timeless design. The award recognizes work that not only honors architectural tradition but also demonstrates how classical principles continue to create meaningful, enduring places for modern communities.
